Dog Birthdays
There's a car commercial out there that says "good things come to those who wait. No, good things come to those who work." We here at Dogs on the Go work very hard to take care of our client's dogs. We are all fortunate that we are able to provide for our families, animals included. When we were looking for a way to celebrate our client's dog's birthdays, I got to thinking.....
My client's dogs, as well as our own, have everything they could want. A warm bed, delicious food, exercise, the love of an owner. It seemed silly to spend money on birthday niceties, when our dogs can't differentiate a birthday treat from an everyday treat There are pets out there that don't have loving owners, a home to call there own, or enough food to eat. That's when Dogs on the Go decided to make contributions to organizations, in honor of our client's special pets and their birthdays. Rescue organizations have to work raise money to pay for food and vet costs, as well as try to find homes for so many homeless pets. This year Dogs on the Go has contributed to Friends to the Forlorn Pitbull, Rottstars Rescue, and Southeastern Newf Rescue.
If you are a current client of ours, please let us know your dog's birthday and what organization you would like a contribution made to in honor of your. If you don't have an organization in mind, then we will find a reputable, appropriate rescue to make a contribution to.
We feel very fortunate that through our hard work, and that of our client's, we are able to give back to the community.
